Vivo Launched Its First 5G Gaming Smartphone Vivo IQOO 3

IQOO is like what BlackShark is to Xiaomi. The brand has already launched no fewer smartphones for gamers. We met the Vivo IQOO, Vivo IQOO Neo, Vivo IQOO Neo 855, and the Vivo IQOO Pro. Now, it’s the turn of the new Vivo IQOO 3.

The Vivo IQOO 3 5G is committed to the latest technology in all components, with both Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, and 5G connectivity in some versions.

A Lot of Power

IQOO, depending on who you ask, has opted for its latest components for IQOO 3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 could not be missing. It is accompanied by RAM of 6, 8, or 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and storage of 128 or 256 GB with UFS 3.1 technology. It is a standard that was finalized only a few weeks ago.

The battery of 4,440 mAh is an acceptable amount; it is not very much, especially in the 5G versions. Fortunately, it loads fast, with the support for fast charging of 55W. It is not the fastest of the moment, but close to it. The smartphone comes with a unique charging cable design.

Perforated screen

The Vivo IQOO 3 opts for the perforated screen to solve the ballot of the camera for selfies. This camera is in the upper right corner and is a relatively small perforation. The screen itself is a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with FullHD + resolution (2400 x 1080)

Something that is missing in this Vivo IQOO 3 is the increase of the refreshment rate since it still has 60 Hz. However, the system will record your touches with more precision. The touch panel has a 180 Hz refresh.

We are facing a mobile designed to play heavy games. That is why it has two pressure-sensitive buttons in the smartphone frame. You can use them to perform actions in the supported games. Besides, the mobile has a 4D vibration haptic engine (with four points, one in each corner of the smartphone).

Four lenses

The Vivo IQOO 3 is a mobile for games that opts for a more traditional design than other alternatives. There are no neons or spaceship designs, like ROG phone. Even so, you can expect excellent photographic performance.

It has a four-lens camera on the back. There is the primary sensor of 48 megapixels f / 1.79, a wide-angle of 13 MP, a telephoto sensor of 13 MP and 2 MP for the depth lens. All together, achieve a 20x zoom digital feature. The 16 MP lens provides the selfie camera with an aperture of f / 2.45.

In terms of connectivity, having the latest Qualcomm means winning the latest in connectivity as well. The 12 GB models have 5G SA and NSA connectivity, while the rest remain in LTE. We also have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and, yes, a minijack connector.
