Xiaomi Officially Launched Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro

After Samsung officially opened the high range season with its Galaxy S20 series, the next company showing its most powerful phone for the year is Xiaomi. The company has officially introduced Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. A couple of phones people expect to meet in Europe during the MWC.

Two models arrive at the same time, both with 5G connectivity, the latest from Qualcomm, and an outstanding camera. It is also noteworthy that the battery capacity has increased considerably.

Seamless Front Camera

The Xiaomi Mi 10 solves the ballot of the front camera without resorting to the notch or the retractable mechanisms of the last generation. Instead, they opt for a hole in the screen in the upper left corner. It is smaller in size. In fact, the total diameter of the front camera is 1.74 mm, edges included. It is a 20 MP camera anyway.

Both of them have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, with curved edges and that has Full HD + resolution. It is larger than the 6.39-inch display in the Xiaomi Mi 9.

Snapdragon 865 – 5G SA and NSA

The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro come with the latest Snapdragon inside, the Snapdragon 865. Although they are not the first smartphone to release it, they are among the first to launch a product during 2020 with it.

One of the novelties of the Snapdragon 865 is the support for LPDDR5 RAM. It has 12 GB of RAM. As for storage, we have 256 GB for the standard model and 512 GB for the most advanced model, both UFS 3.0.

Another advantage of the Snapdragon 865 is its connectivity. Both the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro include support for full 5G, SA, and NSA. Also, it includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support. The connectivity sector closes with NFC and Dual GPS.

So much power requires large batteries. Therefore, Xiaomi put 4,780 mAh batteries for the standard model and 4,500 mAh for the Pro model.  Fast charging presents at two speeds: 50W on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and 30W on the standard model.

Inherited Camera from Mi Note 10

After Xiaomi mounted 108-megapixel cameras on his Mi Note 10, it was expected that the play would be repeated in its next high range. That’s right, and the Xiaomi Mi 10 has a configuration somewhat similar to this smartphone. Four lenses in total, the main one of 108 MP f / 1.8, a wide-angle of 13 MP, a macro lens of 2 MP and another lens of 2 MP for blurring.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is also part of the four lenses. Although the super wide-angle is 20 megapixels and the portrait mode goes up to 12 megapixels. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi 10 series can achieve a 10x hybrid zoom. Thanks to the “ultra-telephoto” sensor.
