Samsung has officially opened the closure of the new generation of Samsung Galaxy A with the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. The play is expected to repeat throughout the series, including the Samsung Galaxy A41 which will probably launch very soon.

On several occasions, we have known some details of this model. Although at the moment, we do not have any photos or know if it will also go to the perforation on the screen. However, the newest GeekBench screenshot reveals that Samsung would abandon its processor brand to include a MediaTek SoC.

Goodbye Exynos, Hi MediaTek

The Samsung Galaxy A41 is expected to be similar to the Samsung Galaxy A51, but with some more modest specifications. As a possible upgrade compared to the Galaxy A40, the Galaxy A41 may come with a triple camera with a 48-megapixel main camera, an as yet unknown second lens, and a macro lens with 2-megapixel resolution. The front camera is said to have a resolution of 25 MP. Beyond having the reference that the Samsung Galaxy A51 mounts an Exynos 9611, the Galaxy A41 should be a lower model.

There is nothing confirmed, of course, but an SM-A415F model sighted in Geekbench, and which coincides with the internal nomenclature expected for the Samsung Galaxy A51, leaving some clues about what we can expect from Galaxy A41.

Beyond the scores (1669 for one core and 5080 for multicore), the most relevant thing about this benchmark is that it is listed with an ARM MT6768V processor. This is the internal name of the MediaTek Helio P65, a 12 nm processor with eight 2-core GHz (It has two potent and six energy savings). The benchmark also indicates that this model has 4 GB of RAM. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy A41 will be delivered with Android 10 OS and possibly with the latest One 2.0 UI from Samsung.

It would not be the first time that Samsung has mounted MediaTek on their phones since it is already included, for example, in the Samsung Galaxy A10s. However, it is certainly not usual, especially when we find ourselves in a more mid-range model than an input range.

So far, there are only rumors about the additional hardware. When it comes to batteries, they refer to the appearance of the battery on the South Korean certification site SafetyKorea, where the model number BA415ABY appeared.

In addition to preparing its launch soon, they seem to confirm that it will have a 3,500 mAh battery, greater than that of the original Samsung Galaxy A40. Although, it was smaller than the of the Samsung Galaxy A40s, which had 5,000 mAh battery. Other rumors speak of support for fast charging with 15 watts and a device memory of 64 GB.

After the A40 was released in March of last year, we assume that the successor will still be launched in the first quarter of 2020. Samsung has not yet confirmed the launch date of Galaxy A41. Perhaps, Samsung will surprise us at MWC with the official announcement.
