Android 10 Improvements
Dark Mode: The new Android Dark theme uses a “true black” to conserve battery life. Also, it modifies the visual of your Google apps, such as Calendar and Photos.
Sound amplifier: With Sound Amplifier, the phone can increase the sound, filter the background noise and adjust the audio so that we can hear it better. It is very useful when listening to podcasts, watching videos or talking in an area with a lot of noise.
Real-time subtitles: With just one touch, Live Caption automatically subtitles videos, messages, podcasts, audio, and even our voice recording.
Smart answers: In addition to the answers suggested in your messages, Android 10 provides recommended actions. So, for example, if a friend invites you to dinner, the phone itself suggests that you send a text message and shows you directions directly on Google Maps. It even works in messaging applications like Signal.
How to install Android 10 on Huawei?
The mobiles that are compatible with Android 10 at the moment are the devices that were part of the Android Q beta program. However, it should be noted that not everyone will receive the OTA with the stable version of Android 10 already, but will depend on the manufacturer.
The steps to follow are:
- Go to “Settings.”
- Select “System.”
- Access “Advanced.”
- Click on “System updates.”
If no update appears, search again.
If you have the phones that always connected to the WiFi network, you will have the update downloaded and ready to install. At some point, the phone will restart, install the update and turn it on again. When you do, you will have Android 10 as an operating system and you can take advantage of all its news.
Unfortunately, The company has confirmed in its social networks that there has been a problem with the update to Android 10 with EMUI 10. It is the reason why users with this Huawei P20 Pro in Europe will have to wait until March for the launch of it. Although so far, we do not know what problem they have.
So if you have this Huawei P20 Pro, you will have to wait a couple of months to have a stable and official update on the phone.
