Smartphone maker Realme is soon coming up with its first 5G smartphone dubbed as Realme X50 5G. The phone is expected to launch on January 5 but before the launch, the company has been teasing its key features over the past few weeks. But now the company has shared a new poster on its official handle micro blogging website Weibo where it showcases the phone’s heat dissipation ability. The released poster confirms that Realme has added an 8mm ultra-larger liquid-cooled copper tube. This tube feature 410 cubic mm of volume with something called “heat dissipation 3.0”. It offers five-dimensional ice-cooled heat dissipation which covers 100 percent of the core heat source.
Realme has already confirmed that the X50 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and support simultaneous 5G and Wi-Fi connections. Realme also confirmed the phone to be network accelerated and can make use of both 2.4GHz and 5GHz for Wi-Fi. The phone is expected to cover all the mainstream frequency bands for 5G connectivity, including n1, n41, n78, n79 and will support both SA and NSA dual-mode networking with 5G.
The X50 5G is also confirmed to sport a display with a punch hole in the top-left corner for the dual selfie camera. Realme hasn’t officially revealed any other details yet, but rumour suggests that the X50 5G will come with a 6.6″ LCD meaning no UD fingerprint reader. The smartphone would also have a 64-megapixel primary sensor that could be the Sony IMX686 sensor. Further, the phone would sport a dual selfie camera setup with a 32-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The device could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. The handset may come with up of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
We expect Android 10-based custom ColorOS 7 running the smartphone. While the launch date is not yet confirmed, a recent teaser hints at 5th January as the launch date. Till we come up with more leaks before the launch of this handset, keep tuned in for latest news, leaks and updates.
