Samsung has unveiled the first two of its Galaxy A 2020 smartphones in Vietnam. As promised, the company unveiled all-new Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 smartphones at an event in Vietnam. Both the new Samsung smartphones comes in cheerful colours targeting the youth. The highlight of the new smartphones is the punch-hole (Infinity O) display, quad cameras and much more. The Galaxy A51 comes as the successor to the Galaxy A50, whereas the Galaxy A71 debuts as the descendant of the Galaxy A70. Both phones run Android 10 out-of-the-box and come with fast charging support.
It is believed that Samsung Galaxy A51 will go on pre-orders starting December 16, while its availability in the Vietnamese market is set for December 27. As far as the pricing is concerned Samsung Galaxy A51 price is set at VND 7,990,000 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in Vietnam and the country will only get one storage variant of the phone initially while globally, Samsung Galaxy A51 will be available in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB storage versions. Also, this phone will come in Prism Crush Black, White, Blue, and Pink colour options. As far as Galaxy A71 is concerned, Samsung hasn’t announced the price and availability details of this handset. It is supposed that the phone is already listed with Prism Crush Black, White, Blue, and Pink colour variants and it will be offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB onboard storage.
Now talking about the features of both the handset separately, Samsung Galaxy A51 comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLEd display with Infinity-O cutout. It runs on Exynos 9611 processor clocked at 2.3GHz with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The phone supports expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. In terms of optics, you get four cameras at the back in L-shape. This includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel dedicated macro lens. There is also a 32-megapixel selfie snapper on the front. Galaxy A51 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy A51 also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, in-display fingerprint scanner, and Dolby Atmos audio support.
On the other hand Samsung Galaxy A71 supports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core processor paired with 6GB and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage with support for storage expandability. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform coupled with 6GB of RAM. It packs a larger sensor featuring a 64-megapixel primary lens alongside 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The Galaxy A71 comes in Prism Crush Black, Silver, Blue, and Pink colour options. However the pricing is still suspense.
At the moment, there’s no word on the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 in other markets but we are sure it will happen soon.
