Free games with PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold announced for December

Keeping up with the latest gaming trends and consoles can be an expensive hobby, which is why PlayStation and Xbox have decided to start handing out some freebies to reward their users.

PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold members can download new free games each month as part of their subscription, with new titles made available at the start of each 30-day period.

As we enter December, Xbox Live Gold members can now download Insane Robots on Xbox One and Toy Story 3 on Xbox 360. From December 16, both Jurassic World Evolution and Castlevania: Lord of Shadows – Mirror of Fate HD will also be added.

As for PlayStation users, the build up to Christmas will see Monster Energy Supercross and Titanfall 2 join PS Plus from December 3. Titanfall 2 boasts an impressive 89% rating on Metacritic, so both Sony and Microsoft have gone big with their free releases this month.
