Apple-owned Beats added Solo Pro headphones to its lineup of wireless headphones. The latest model can be called as the updated version of Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones but at an increased price.
Beats Solo Pro Features
To begin with, Beats Solo Pro model features an on-ear form factor. Weighing at 267g, the headphones come with Apple H1 Chip. It is the same chip that powers its predecessor too.
For blocking out the external noise, Beats Solo Pro boasts active noise cancelling. Further, there is a transparency feature which filters ambient noise naturally. However, noise-cancelling and transparency can be turned off, which enhances battery life quite a lot.
Both the right and the left ear cups offer different controls to the user. While the left ear cup houses a mode button to turn Noise Cancelling/Transparency ON and OFF, right ear cup carries the track, call, and volume controls.
Beats Solo Pro features dual beam-forming microphones. Also, there are motion-detecting and speech-detecting accelerometers. Another interesting feature is its power on and power off mechanism. The Solo Pro model turns on and off when they are unfolded and folded respectively.
Backup in the headphones is provided by a lithium-ion battery. Talking about the battery life, up to 22 hours of playback time can be achieved on a single full charge.
Whereas, the listening time is increased up to 40 hours with Noise Cancelling and Transparency features turned off. A 10-minute quite Fast Fuel recharges the headphones for providing up to 3 hours of playback capability. That said, even a quick 10-minute charge should be enough for most of the people on a daily basis.
Beats Solo Pro is available for purchase from the company’s official website as well as Amazon channel. The headphones carry a price tag of $299.95 and are offered in Black, Gray, Red, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Ivory colours.
A carrying case and a Lightning to USB-A charging cable are also included in the box
