Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro

Xiaomi is one company that believes in providing users with the best of smartphone technology at a price which does not break the bank. We have seen other smartphone manufacturers have the same strategy but they fail after a year or two. In the case of Xiaomi, we are continuing to see this trend from the last five years and counting.

This shows that the company will have the same strategy for the time being. You might be aware of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro’s launch which is the first smartphone from Xiaomi with a 64MP camera. Well, Xiaomi is now going to release a smartphone which will trump the Redmi Note 8 Pro’s camera as well.

The smartphone we are talking about is the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. This smartphone is said to be coming with a 108MP camera which was developed in partnership with Samsung. While we do know that it is not a proper 108MP camera sensor, the results are very similar. As the camera sensors tend to be a lot bigger as the megapixel count increases, companies tend to use a process called pixel binning to shrink the image size down and provide the same results.

However, you would be highly mistaken if you thought that Mi CC9 Pro’s 108MP camera is the only USP of this phone. Because the smartphone is also teased to have a breathing light display. Along with that, Xiaomi has teased Hi-Res Audio for the device which could come handy for recording audio via phone rather than a microphone.

From the teaser images, we can also see that the device will have a Penta-camera setup with a 32MP selfie camera too. Considering the features, you would expect the device to cost close to USD 999 but knowing Xiaomi’s aggressive pricing, we expect the device to cost around the USD 700 mark.
