Xiaomi Mi Watch revealed ahead of launch

Xiaomi is all set to launch multiple products on November 5 in Beijing China. The list of products includes Mi CC9 Pro, Mi Watch and a new Xiaomi Mi TV. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer has revealed a render of the Mi Watch. It shows a complete redesign and borrows certain design elements from the Apple Watch like the square-shaped dial.

The render shows the Mi Watch in Black and White color options. As mentioned above, the overall design of the smartwatch is inspired by the Apple Watch. Not just the screen, the strap, and wallpapers also resembles the Apple Watch. Overall, it has a clean interface and will come with an Always-on display.

Live images of the Mi Watch have leaked ahead of the launch which shows the black variant. Unlike the company’s Mi bands, the Mi Watch feels big enough. It will provide good viewing and reading experience to its users. Information like messages, WhatsApp chats and emails will be convenient to read on the Mi Watch. The smartwatch will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform and it will have built-in linear motor, WiFi, GPS, and NFC.

Xiaomi has revealed in previous teasers that the Mi Watch will feature smart capabilities like picking calls, playing music, browsing the internet and more. Like the Mi Bands, users will likely be able to control and access information with the help of the Mi Fit app available on Google Play store as well as the Apple Play Store. The company is yet to reveal other details like the price.

Smartphone manufacturers like Apple, Samsung and Huawei have already launched their own smartwatches in the market. It will be interesting to see what new features the Mi Watch brings to the table. We will be updating more details from the launch event. Stay tuned.
