Samsung’s affordable Galaxy Note10 will be named as ‘Galaxy Note10 Lite’

Samsung Galaxy Note 10

We reported earlier that Samsung is said to be working on the affordable version of its Galaxy Note 10. However, we did not know anything about the look of this smartphone nor about the specifications of the same. Also, we did not know what Samsung would call this new Galaxy Note 10. There were reports floating around regarding a possible Note 10e name like the Galaxy S10e. Or we might also have a name such as Galaxy Note 10 Lite which would be new for Samsung.

To clear our confusion regarding the name of its affordable Galaxy Note 10, Sammobile has exclusively reported that Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 10 will be called ‘Galaxy Note 10 Lite’. This means that Samsung will launch yet-another smartphone in the Galaxy Note 10 series after its Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. However, we are still not sure about what the device might have inside it. Since this is a Galaxy Note series phone, we will be seeing an S Pen bundled inside it for sure. This means that we will have our first affordable, which will still be in the upper mid-range segment, with a dedicated stylus.

Apart from that, we expect Samsung to bundle the same processor with its Note 10 Lite as the other Note 10 series phones. So it is likely that we will see Snapdragon 855 chip inside Note 10 Lite. But we might see Samsung reduce the RAM and storage on this smartphone. Therefore, it is possible that we see a base variant with 4GB RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage for this phone. As for the pricing, reports say that this will be an affordable smartphone so we expect it to be launched at a starting price of $600-700. Now, the biggest question here is whether Samsung’s Note 10 Lite will be better than OnePlus 7T or even Apple’s iPhone 11 launched recently in the same price segment.
