Xiaomi will soon release a smartphone with 120Hz refresh rate

Currently, you must be using a smartphone with a 60Hz refresh rate which is the default for every phone. However, smartphones like the OnePlus 7T series and gaming phones such as Razer Phone 2, Asus ROG 2 and others have a higher refresh rate display as well.

It is reported that Xiaomi’s next smartphone will have a 120Hz refresh rate display. This shows that you will soon have a Xiaomi smartphone with double the refresh rate than what we normally have. The OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, as well as the OnePlus 7T Pro, currently have a 90Hz refresh rate display only. Therefore, we will see Xiaomi joining the likes of gaming phone manufacturers with similar displays.

According to the description of switching between refresh rates, Xiaomi says that 120Hz “[make] the picture smoother” while lower refresh rates “[save] battery,”
