Apple iPhone 4

Apple has been subjected to a lot of discussions lately and the most obvious of those are regarding the newly-announced iPhone 11 series devices. However, we can also say that not everyone is happy with the design of the latest iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro by Apple. In fact, we can say that there have been a lot of divided opinions regarding Apple’s design going forward.

Now, Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo reveals something that will make all of the Apple fans happy. Because he reveals that a big redesign for the iPhone is coming from Apple next year. Not only that, but he also tells us that the iPhone 12 series will have an iPhone 4-like design.

For those of you who have never used an iPhone 4, it is believed to be the best design Apple has ever done. As the phone had metal sides as well as a glass back and flat edges on both the front and back. This meant that the design of iPhone 4 was an instant hit among Apple fans and even the company knows that.

For this reason, Apple’s iPhone 12 can be seen as the revival of iPhone 4 in a much bigger size and features. However, the report also mentions that iPhone 12 will have a notch but it will be a smaller one. Also, next year’s iPhones will have display sizes ranging from 5.4 to 6.1 and 6.7-inches.

There will be a chassis change for the Apple iPhone 12 design too which means that there could be a lot of components that would be changed. We might also see Apple finally adopting the USB Type-C port on its iPhones instead of the lightning port which is proprietary to Apple.

We might also all the iPhone 12 series phones coming with an OLED display as we currently have the iPhone 11 with an LCD display which is a slight disappointment. However, the report that we would not like to hear is that next year’s iPhones will also be costlier than this year because of 5G support.
