While you have seen various leaks on smartphones previously, it is not common to find leaks regarding laptops. We have seen that Apple’s MacBook gets leaked sometimes but even that is not very frequent. However, there seems to be some interest regarding Microsoft’s Surface lineup this time around as it has leaked now. We know that Microsoft has scheduled a launch event for its Surface lineup announcement on October 2. Few weeks prior to that, we have our first leak regarding one of the products being announced at the event.

We are talking about the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 which is a laptop in the Surface lineup from the company. The Surface Pro from Microsoft sits among the likes of Surface Book and Surface Laptop from the company. According to the leaked specifications, we should expect 4G connectivity on the latest Surface Pro 7 tablets. Apart from that, the tablets should be powered by the latest 10th generation Intel Core processors. However, some variants of the Surface Pro 7 might have Snapdragon 8cx chips too.

Now, the latest leak reveals that Microsoft will offer Surface Pro 7 in different configuration options. The base variant of Surface Pro 7 will come with 4GB RAM, Core i3 processor from Intel and 128GB SSD storage. The top-end variant of this tablet, however, will be equipped with 16GB RAM, have 512GB SSD storage and be powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor. It is also expected that the entry-level version of Surface Pro 7 will be affordable to attract users who want to buy a cheaper Microsoft Surface device.

Reports also mention that the Surface Pro 7 from Microsoft will have thinner bezels as well as a flatter design compared to the Surface Pro 6. Some leaks also point towards the fact that Surface Pro 7 will have USB Type-C support which should be expected at this point of time. Apart from Microsoft Surface Pro 7, the company is also expected to launch a 15-inch version of the Surface Book 3.
